Quilts for Babies

 Baby quilts are such a joy to make!  New moms love to wrap their little one in a snuggle quilt!  These two will be donated to Casa Teressa, a home for unwed mothers in my city.  This organization does a fabulous job assisting these new moms.

This quilt was made with the left over pieces from another 30's theme fabrics.  

This quilt was a panel given to me by a special friend who knows I will complete the quilt and donated to a charity.

Makes my heart happy to donate these quilts!

Lucy Boston Patchwork of Crosses

 Almost finished!  After two years of stitching, my Lucy Boston quilt is ready to bind!  

I am so pleased with the quilt.  It's not the size of the original pattern, I knew I wouldn't use the large version of the quilt.  A large throw size will be used and loved.  Just the binding to finish.  I wish I would have had enough of the gray fabric to bind but life goes on and it will be bound with a gray that blends with the gray pieces.  Onward to another EPP quilt!

Just A Small Project

 I needed to take a break from my two large EPP projects .  Everywhere I see Halloween fabrics, decorations and candy!  So I hauled out the tub of Halloween fabric and began cutting one inch hexagons.

Here's my finished small table topper!  Was great fun to work through all the fabric and choose my favorites.  Loving the orange hexagons, especially the cat and the Reeses pumpkin. 

The free motion quilting was easy and done quickly.  I'm going to pack it up and send it to my niece, she'll be surprised when the mail arrives at her house! BOO!

Table Topper Completed

 Special Memories! My quilt as you go project contains blocks from the past. This is so special and precious to me. Loving how my mom's and grandmother's talents are visible.
