The Absolutely Autumn Quilt is Finished! Machine Quilting was exciting but did take time, but the time and effort were worth every minute!
Can't forget the pumpkins on the back.

I don't believe that you can have Autumn without pumpkins! So I made scrappy pumpkins for the backing.
This is my newest finished project. I received Lori Holt's Autumn templates for my birthday so I just had to make one of the quilt blocks. Used a kitchen towel, needed a new fall accessory for the kitchen.
Week #4 brings four star blocks using half square triangles. The block was easy to complete using the Magic 8 technique. Colors really shine in these Fall stars.
The third week of the Absolutely Autumn Mystery Quilt is a Sunflower! I love sunflowers! This block is a record for me....52 pieces in one block! Whew! The quilt has four sunflower blocks so that's 208 pieces in four blocks.
Acorns are the theme of Week #2 of Absolutely Autumn Mystery Quilt. Total of eight acorns.
Two different color combinations make for a variety in the quilt. The grunge fabric in the nine patch has a different appearance. The acorns would make a cute table runner. Still not sure if I like grunge fabric.
