Prayer Quilt and Quilt For Mexico Mission

Two unique quilts have been completed, each for a special reason.  This Prayer Quilt is for a wheelchair individual. This photo is previous to quilting.

I used Missouri Star pattern (Charms on Point) and 5" squares to make this blue, beige and brown quilt.  It's a quick and easy pattern.

Quilting really makes this quilt stand out!  I used the 3's and E's method for the center of the quilt and then wishbones on the border.    Amazing what quilting does!!

Each tie represents a prayer for Norm who is wheelchair bound.  This quilt is a favorite I've completed lately.
Blessings to Norm.

Scrappy Quilt for Mexico Mission Trip

Four patches from the 2.5" bin of scrappy fabrics and  2.5" beige strips make up this scrappy misson trip quilt.  Whew, just enough blue print fabric to do the border.

I had such a great time quilting this quilt!  It was just fun playing with circles, wishbones and swirls!  This quilt pattern would look great with feathers in the spaces between the four patches.

This quilt will be given to the owners of the new house that will be built by our church group in Mexico.
