Borders

 So excited that I completed the corners and border on the first section of my Lucy Boston.  Whew!  I am so pleased how this section appears!  The borders need numerous gray and white elongated hexagons.  These elongated hexagons are 1".

 Using the same gray fabric and the borders was a great choice.  Now to cut some more corner squares (using the same fabric as in the blocks) and more gray elongated hexagons.  

I already have a plan for my free motion quilting design.
