Third and Final Donation

This blue and white Strip Stack quilt is my final donation to Blue Line Kids HALO group.  It was made by a batik jelly roll.  This G. E Design quilt measures 51" X 73".

The blue tones will support any boy in the Blue Line Program.

Love the label our group uses on donation quilts.

I did the cutting and piecing of the quilt.  My friend Tina did the quilting on her long arm machine.  She always does a terrific job!  Praying that the child who receives this quilt will find comfort and for all the children who are candidates for the Blue Line Halo Program.

Blue Line Kids HALO Quilt

My second donation going to Blue Line Kids!   Finally found a jelly roll that would be perfect for this quilt pattern.  Free Spirit fabric was just that fabric!  Adore the colors and the fabric prints.

The colors and the design just make me smile!  I adjusted the size of the quilt to make it fit the requirements of the Blue Line HALO  program group.

Light blue thread was used to do the quilting, white would appeared stark on the colored pieces.  I used  some of the techniques from Angela Walters Youtube instructions.  So excited to learn wishbone quilting and the technique on the center four patch squares.   Stippling and feathers adorn the white center portions.

The Hoffman aqua batik fabric was donated by designer Jamie Fingal.  I used this fabric for the corner stones, back and binding.  The added strips of color on the back add some zest to the plain back.

Hoping that the child who receives this quilt will love the colors, find comfort and peace.
