So pleased with my Grandma Maggie's Flower Garden! It is made with one inch hexagons using 30's fabric. There are over 700 hexagons in the quilt. It's a lap sized quilt so it will be used frequently!

Lucy Boston Patchwork of Pieces Block #10
I used Tula Pink fabric for the center of Lucy Boston #10! Tula Pink has such a talent for selecting and the placement of colors. I'm so pleased with the center! Only purchased a fourth of a yard and had plenty. I will use the rest, which might be a chore with the Swiss cheese fabric that's left, for half inch hexagons.
The other block colors in the block came from my stash. When I began the Lucy Boston I decided that using the fabrics from my stash would be a priority. Next block will favor green,
I chose to make a lap size throw. There are too many other EPP projects to make large quilts!

Lucy Boston Block # 9
Block number nine went together faster than ever. I must be getting use to EPP.
Fussy cutting is so much fun! This fabric had so many opportunities for fussy cutting.
The green in the fabric so needed the elongated hexagons next door. Now onto number 10!
It is already to go, well it needs to be hand stitched. It's Purple! I used Tula Pink fabric. Stay tuned for the reveal!

Lucy Boston Patchwork of Crosses #8
Block number eight with a few more to go....
Lucy Boston Patchwork of Crosses block #8 is complete! The tones of this block remind me of fall. Fall is my very favorite season. Love the colors and the all the leaves. I feel that the fabrics I chose for this block remind me of the textures of leaves and the colors too. Really like the swirls in the center of the block. Now onto block #9!

Charity Quilts
Having so much fun working on Charity Quilts! I purchased the Creative Grids Pineapple ruler and have made two quilts, one with 30's fabric and another with blue fabrics.
